The Perfect Week Formula with Craig Ballantyne
Hey, hey, Healthpreneurs! I’ve got a special guest on today’s episode. The one and only Craig Ballantyne who just came out with a new book called The Perfect Week Formula.
I’m excited to talk about some of the concepts in the book with him and how it can help you.
When it comes to productivity, discipline and structure, Craig is the go to guy.
Craig initially wrote The Perfect Day Formula book and after seeing some questions that he didn’t address in his Perfect Day Formula book, he decided to address those issues in The Perfect Week Formula.
Craig’s book is designed to help you build your business around your life, and not your life around your business. Stop sacrificing your life for your business by making a few of the right choices by leveraging your time.
During our conversation, Craig talks about leveraging your time throughout your day not by adding more, but by subtracting the things that distract you that aren’t a good use of your time.
He also offered a great insight during our conversation where he said to be the best at less rather than mediocre at more.
Craig dropped a ton of knowledge bombs throughout our conversation so you’ll want to be sure to watch this in it’s entirety and pay close attention.
If you’re interested in getting a copy of Craig’s book, you can get it at perfectweekformula.com

What You Missed
On our last episode I talked about an experiment I did with my coach, Alex Charfen, on an activity called a time study which is basically tracking every minute of your day in 15 minute time blocks.
It was quite and eye opening experience. After tracking your time for two weeks, you begin to see patterns emerge and you begin to identify what activities are strategic, what are tactical, what is self-care time and what is family time.
One of the biggest insights I got is that I should be doing less tactical work in my business. Part of the journey in growing your business is relinquishing control. And so I need to stop doing things and empower my team to take care of those things.
I’ve also realized that doing this study is a great way to improve behaviors not just for yourself, but for your clients and team as well.
