I recently took a 3 day sabbatical or 3 days off you will and took a complete digital detox.  I didn’t touch my computer or my phone.  And during this brief time off, I had three weird discoveries I want to share which may be helpful to you.

What I learned from taking three days off is the less you do, the less you want to do.  I literally wanted to do nothing.

As a person who is highly productive, this kind of goes against my grain.

But a good outcome is you get to ‘reset’ yourself which is a pattern interrupt on your habits.

Another thing I’ve discovered is when you take time away from your business, it’s a very good stress test on your business. If you step away from your business, and fires happen, can the business survive if you’re not present?

Which then begs the question, what do I have to do if something similar were to happen again where it wouldn’t be an issue if I were there or not?

Watch this episode and let me know what you think of some of these discoveries I’ve addressed and how has taking time off affected your business.
