Are you obsessed with your success?  If you’re not, you really should be.  There’s a book by Ray Dalio called Principles where he talks about the importance of being a realist and being very self-aware of the current situation you’re in and your life.

If you’re looking to achieve success, you have to be real and honest with yourself if you’re doing all that you can to achieve that success.  Are you obsessed and doing whatever it takes to get there?

When I was 10 I was obsessed with wanting to become a professional soccer player.  I made sacrifices so I wouldn’t miss training and practice opportunities.  I was relentless in my pursuit of becoming a professional soccer playing which I eventually achieved in my early 20’s.

I share this with you as an example of what being obsessed is with whatever it is you want to achieve in your life or your business.

I want to raise your awareness and what you need to ask yourself to become obsessed with whatever it is you want to achieve.  Whatever you want to get better at, you have to be obsessed with getting better.

You need to put in the work.  You cannot delegate your success to someone else.

What You Missed

In our last episode we talked about fear.  More specifically, is fear holding you back, or is it propelling you forward?

I can tell you first hand that when you face your fears is when you grow the most and achieve the most.  It’s important that you learn to face your fears because fear never goes away — what you fear changes over time.

You can’t grow your business without personal growth.  All business growth is predicated by personal growth and getting past your fears is a big factor in achieving personal growth and business growth.

Pushing past your fear is believing in yourself.  And when you believe in yourself others will believe in you as well.  A big part of pushing past your fears and believing in yourself is to “get in the soup” with others who have been there, who get you, who can support and encourage you along the way.

Listen to this episode and I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
