In today’s episode, we are joined by a special guest, Julien, who is almost six months old.  We call him the little marshmallow and are still having tons of fun with his cheeks.

But in all seriousness, today I want to talk about how to competition-proof your business.

And I know being in the health, wellness and fitness space, you can get lost in what everyone else is doing that you tend to lose track in what you’re doing.

We end up comparing ourselves against what other people are doing.

To competition-proof your business is a lot easier than you think.  If there’s anything I want you to keep in mind is this.  Obsess about your clients, not about the competition.

While there may be a lot of people who do what you do, they’re not YOU.  We are all unique and we all have different approaches and philosophies to what we do.  Focus on what makes you unique and different.  And that’s what will attract people to YOU.

Your uniqueness will attract a tribe that resonates with your message.

When you compare yourself to someone else, you’re comparing against superficial data.  You have no idea of what is really going on behind the scenes.

Watch this episode and let me know what your thoughts are on this topic.  I invite your feedback, questions, comments.

What You Missed

In our last episode,  we talked about why new and exciting hurts your business.

You know how someone will ask you “what’s new and exciting”?

If you missed it, I’m here to tell you that “boring” is the way to grow a successful business.

I know as entrepreneurs that can be difficult because our entrepreneurial minds are always looking to create the next thing.

In reality, it’s the boring stuff that makes you really effective and makes your business scaleable.

If you’re a little confused by that, you can get the full scoop right here:  Why New And Exciting Hurts Your Business.
