The Only Measure Of Success That Actually Matters
Stasia
I was recently flying home to Toronto from Los Angeles and reading a good book by John Wooden called “Wooden On Leadership” who is probably one of the best athletic coaches of our time.
One of the things I want to share with you from his book and something I firmly believe to be true is the only measure of success that actually matters.
To measure success, you need to look inward. Did you do your best? Did you give it everything you’ve got? Did you push through when things got hard and not give up? Are you all in or playing half-ass?
One of the things I’m really big on is processes. Don’t worry so much about the outcome. You need to be obsessed with the process. The prize becomes a byproduct of the work that you do.
Focus on what you can control and if you do that, then you never fail, unless you don’t do the work.
Listen to this episode and all of this will make sense. After you listen to this, I welcome your comments, feedback and questions and if you want our help, then I invite you to go to www.workwithyuri.com where you can book a call with us.

What You Missed
In our last episode, I talked about 3 lessons I learned from 2 mastermind events and a $65 million dollar business.
The lessons being:
Lesson 1: What Got You Here Is Not Going To Get You There
Lesson 2: You Become Your Environment
Lesson 3: To Achieve Very High Levels Of Success You Need Focus and Patience
You also need to be careful of who you model. You have to figure out one model that is going to generate the revenue you want to generate. I can tell you it’s not going to come from where you think it will. I tell you this from experience.
To learn more about these 3 lessons, listen to this episode. If you have any questions, comments, or feedback, I’d love to hear from you.
3 Lessons From $65 Million Dollar Business and 2 Masterminds
Stasia
We recently held our mastermind event in San Diego, and after my event, I went to Los Angeles to attend another mastermind.
As I think about the experience of the two masterminds, there are three lessons I want to share with you.
Lesson 1: What Got You Here Is Not Going To Get You There
As you go through the various income levels of your business, there are different skill set you need to get you to the next level. It’s a skill set I’ve mentioned before in the past several times.
Lesson 2: You Become Your Environment
I’m sure you’ve heard this saying: “you become the reflection of the five people you spend the most of time with” which is why you need to surround yourself with “big thinking” people.
Lesson 3: To Achieve Very High Levels Of Success You Need Focus and Patience
You need to focus on 1 thing and do it really well. You can’t be trying to juggle one or more business and expect to be successful. You need to pick one and go all in. And this goes for all the aspects of running a business. You can’t do it all. The reason why most businesses fail is because you’re trying to do everything instead of focusing on the 1 thing that will bring in income.
Lastly, I’m going to wrap this up with a very important message. You need to be careful of who you model. You have to figure out one model that is going to generate the revenue you want to generate. I can tell you it’s not going to come from where you think it will. I tell you this from experience.
To learn more about these 3 lessons, listen to this episode. If you have any questions, comments, or feedback, I’d love to hear from you. What You Missed
In our last episode, I share with you three mistakes I’ve made in my business I would rather you avoid.
It’s OK to make mistakes. That’s how you learn and grow, and you need to give yourself permission to make mistakes. It’s part of the process.
If you missed that episode, you’ll want to check it out to find out if you’re making the same mistakes. After listening to this episode, if you find that you are making these mistakes, please reach out for help.
3 Mistakes I’ve Made In Business (Avoid These)
Stasia
They say hindsight is 20/20 and with that in mind, I have three mistakes I’ve made in my business I would rather you avoid.
It’s OK to make mistakes. That’s how you learn and grow, and you need to give yourself permission to make mistakes. It’s part of the process.
With that said, here are the three mistakes I made and if you find that you are making these mistakes, please reach out for help.
Mistake Number One: Being scattered.
One of the things I believed back in the day was that the company that has the most products wins. I’m sure you’ve heard something along those lines at least once, right.
Companies by nature are complex, but if you start with complexity out of the gate, it becomes challenging to grow. This prevents you from being effective and focusing on the things that matter most because you’re busy doing too much stuff.
Lesson learned on that mistake: Keep It Simple
Mistake Number Two: Doing Too Much In The Business
I’ll admit, this is something I’m still working on, but your job as an entrepreneur is to fire yourself continuously and this goes back to what I talked about in How To Become Replaceable.
You really need to look at the thing that should be delegated that are not the best use of your time.
Mistake Number Three: Free and Organic Will Not Grow Your Business
Giving away free stuff or posting organically will not grow your business.
At one time this did work, but in this day and age it does not. Even when it did, had I gone the route of paid advertising, I could have cut my trajectory to success in half had I mastered the one important skill I fully believe that every entrepreneur using the internet needs to master, and that is paying to acquire clients.
If you’ve been making any of these mistakes and your business is not growing fast enough, I invite you to go www.workwithyuri.com where you can book a time to speak with us and help you get your business moving in the right direction.
If you have any comments, questions, feedback, I’d love to hear from you.

What You Missed
In our last episode, we talked about 3 unseen threats to your business and why they are unseen.
The first threat is distraction. Unless you are fully committed and understand the path you are on, it is very easy to be dissuaded to something else.
The second threat is impatience which ties into the first threat. If you are not patient and trust the process, you will easily become distracted looking for the next big thing.
The third threat is comparison which is so easy to do, especially with social media. Don’t worry what other people are doing. You need to know your path, be confident with the path you are on and you will get to the destination you want to be on.
Listen to this episode to find out more about these three threats and if you can avoid these three threats, you will be a lot better off and so will you clients.

What You Missed
In our last episode, I talking about about becoming “replaceable”, not to be confused with becoming “irreplaceable”.
What I want you to think about is not only how to become really good at what you do, but how to become replaceable in your own business so that when you step away to take time off, you continue to make money.
In order to do this, you need to look at optimizing, automating, and delegating your business and have and develop a team with leaders underneath you who will propel your business without being the cog in the wheel.
The one thing I cannot stress enough is no matter where you are in your business, start today to document your processes.
When you become replaceable, that is how you create true freedom in your life.

What You Missed
In the past, I’m sure you’ve heard me mention that if you want to succeed in business, you need to pay to play. With that, one of the biggest objections I hear from people is that they don’t have enough of a budget to put into Facebook ads to grow their business.
In our last episode, I debunk that idea and talk to you about client funded acquisition.
If you think about it, most businesses are financed using creditors or “other people’s money”. It’s the same way you buy a home.
Starting out with nothing, zero dollars is not a bad a thing. To be a successful entrepreneur, it all comes back to being risk tolerant, and having faith and belief in yourself which forces you to become resourceful and innovative with your business and that is not a bad thing.
If you missed our last episode and want to learn more about this, you can catch it right here: Risk, Client Funded Acquisition, And Why I Love AMEX

In this episode, I’m going to debunk that idea and talk to you about client funded acquisition.
It’s more of a mindset issue than it is a monetary issue. How “risk tolerant” are you and how much faith and belief do you have that what you are doing is going to work?

What You Missed
In our last episode, I talked about a question that comes up quite a bit and that’s “How To Sell To Broke People.”
To understand why you are selling to “broke people” discuss two important perspectives I want you to recognize with respect to this.
We look at the the energy you’re projecting to attract this type of clientele. In other words, if you have a broke mentality, you’re going to attract broke people.
You also examine your level of conviction with what you are offering. What is the your level of conviction that you are doing for someone that can transform their life. If you don’t believe in your ability, you will never be able to sell someone at a high ticket level.
Certainty Sells. End of story. If you are certain in your ability to transform someone’s life and end their suffering, they will buy from you. If you are uncertain of your ability, you can’t sell that.
Some of what I discuss can be somewhat controversial and would love to get your thoughts on this topic.

In our last episode we talked about Business Math – What You Need To Know To Hit $100K.
If you want to make $100,000, I’m going to show you what the numbers look like. If you’re already at $100K and want to make a $1 million, this will work for you as well.
I talk about the two most common paths people take when looking to build an online business selling either low end product or high end products or services.
Which ever way you’re going, I’m going to give you the logical breakdown of both scenarios so you can decide which will work best for you.
Not only do I break down the math for you, I also show you the differences in how to drive traffic to each offer and how much traffic you need to drive to your offer in order to make the sales you need to reach $100K.

If you want to make $100,000, I want to show you what the numbers look like. If you’re already at $100K and want to make a $1 million, this will work for you as well.
When people look to build a business on line they take one of two paths:
They either sell low end products or they sell high end products or services.

Not only do I break down the math for you, I also show you the differences in how to drive traffic to each offer and how much traffic you need to drive to your offer in order to make the sales you need to reach $100K.
There’s also the cost of paid traffic in ad spend to drive that traffic to your page which I break down for you between the two scenarios.
Here’s the thing between the two models. The more transformation you create for people, the easier it is for your business to grow.
This is the quickest and easiest path to getting to $100K.

In this day and age, if you want to grow your business, you cannot do it organically. You need to advertise and the best platform to advertising your business on is Facebook.
So yes, in this episode I talk about Facebook, specifically Facebook advertising.
I want to help you get past any negative connotations you may have on running ads. In order to be successful at this, you need to have an understanding of how it works and the right guidance.
Over my years of being online, a big part of my journey has been understanding direct-response marketing which essentially is putting a message in front of people that they directly respond to and you can measure that response.
However, in order for your ads to be successful, you need to avoid the one cardinal sin of advertising which so many people make. I’ll give you a hint… when it comes to advertising, you want to blend in in order to stand out.
This isn’t even so much about the copy. It’s about the image being used. Again, you want to blend in to stand out.
Want to know what the cardinal sin is and how to stand out? Click here to tune in and find out.

What You Missed
In our last episode, we talked about selling. I know, I know, selling tends to get a bad reputation, but let’s face it — selling is what keeps your business alive.
To help you, I want to change your mindset and want you to have more of an aversion to giving away free stuff and less of an aversion to selling.
The reason why giving things away for free does not work is because people who don’t pay, don’t pay attention.
If you really want to help someone, they have to pay with their time and money.
With that being said, in this episode, I share with you how to go about selling the vacation, or selling the dream as opposed to the plane or the process.
When you master how to do this, it will help you become effective at enrolling clients and at the end of the day, the more clients we enroll, the bigger and better our business becomes.
