What’s Happening in 2020

While we’re still fresh into the New Year, I want to share with you what’s happening in 2020, what’s happening with you and your business and what’s happening with us, Healthpreneur and how it may help serve you to grow your business.

We’re super excited to tell you about our live event Healthpreneur Live ™ which is happening September 25 – 27 in Scottsdale Arizona.  This event is not like other events.  It’s not a pitch fest. You’ll be surrounded by 250 amazing health and fitness professionals who are doing amazing things to build their business on line.

This event is like rocket fuel for your coaching business.

If you want to know more about what this event is like and take advantage of our 1/2 off early bird special, I invite you to go to healthpreneurgroup.com/live.

Personally for me, I’m traveling for 5 months from January 1 – June 1 with my wife and kids.  We’ll be going to Australia for 2 1/2 months and then off to Italy for 2 months.  Yes, I will still be running the business, but will also be able to enjoy a fun adventure with my family.

To do this, I’ve set up my business so that I can enjoy time travelling with my family without compromising anything in my business.

If you ever want to improve how your business operates, you may want to think about taking some time off.  Ask yourself what would need to be in place in your business for you not to be present in it for a month?

What kind of systems would you need in place?  What kind of people would you need in place?

I promise it will make you think about your business in a way you never have before and as I said, will improve how your business operates.

What do you have planned for your business in 2020?  Where do you want to take your business?  What is your mission?

I’m excited for this year and I hope you are too and if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to reach out to me.

What You Missed

In our last episode, we talked about why Every Day Is A Holiday For Your Business when scaling your ads.

What do I mean by that?  Most businesses tend to scale their advertising with flash sales and discounts to promote their businesses during holidays.

Here’s my take.  Anytime of the year is good time to scale your ads if they’re performing well.

I also don’t believe that you should be offering discounts for your services on holidays and if that’s something you’ve been doing or thinking about doing, then you really need to listen to this episode.

If you want to advertise over the holidays, you can do so by putting out a message that reflects the time of year without discounting your services.  If you want to know how to do that, I give an example you can follow when you listen to this episode.

Every Day is a Holiday For Your Business

Most businesses tend to scale their advertising with flash sales and discounts to promote their businesses during holidays.

Because more businesses decide to run ads during holidays, and there’s more competition, running ads tends to become more expensive.

Here’s my take.  Anytime of the year is good time to scale your ads if they’re performing well.

It’s easy to fall into “Group Think” which is doing what everyone else is doing or doing what everyone else says you “should” do especially if they don’t have the results to back it up.

If you want to advertise over the holidays, you can put out a message that reflects the time of year without discounting your services.  If you want to know how to do that, I give an example you can follow in this episode.

Here’s my advice.  When you find something that works, scale it as fast as you humanly can.

One more thing before I go.  Shameless plug for our Healthpreneur Live event happening in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Go to https://healthpreneurgroup.com/live/ , check out the event and grab your 50% discount before January 31.

What You Missed

Everyone thinks their thing, situation, market, whatever is different, but the reality is it’s all the same.

No matter where you are in the world, the one thing that remains the same is that you’re dealing with humans.

No matter where you are in the world, as long as you have an internet connection, you can connection with millions of people all over the world.

If you think that you are not able to do something or accomplish something because your situation or whatever is unique, I’m here to tell you otherwise, and I’m going to change your perspective on where you are at.

If you missed this episode, you can catch it right here.

But My THING Is Different Unique

Everyone thinks their thing, situation, market, whatever is different, but the reality is it’s all the same.

No matter where you are in the world, the one thing that remains the same is that you’re dealing with humans.

No matter where you are in the world, as long as you have an internet connection, you can connection with millions of people all over the world.

You can make up a story or an excuse as to why my thing won’t work because or, you can change your circumstance to better serve you.

It all comes down to knowing how to get your message out to your target audience and in this day and age, it’s a very simple thing to do.  But you need to get out of your own way and stop limiting yourself.

It’s really quite simple.  You can have excuses or you can have results.  The choice is yours.

01:08 – 03:14 – Introducing Today’s Topic

03:14 – 10:00 – Why Your Story Is Not Serving You

What You Missed

In our last episode we talked about money back guarantees in your business, the differences between them and why it could be hurting your business.

This is something a lot of people don’t think about or consider with their business.

There’s a big difference between selling low ticket items compared to high ticket items and the nuances between the two determine as to whether or not you offer a guarantee.

Listen to this episode in it’s entirety so you can learn how to vet qualified candidates and not fall into the trap of people asking for a refund at the end of a 6 week, 12 week or 6 month coaching program.

I promise it will save you time, headaches on frustration.

Why Your Guarantee Could Be Hurting Your Business

Today I want to talk with you about money back guarantees in your business and the differences between them.  It’s something a lot of people don’t think about or consider with their business.

And it all depends on your offer or what you’re selling.  If you’re doing direct response marketing and offering a low ticket item, chances are you’re offering a guarantee that offers the customer very low risk.

What if you’re offering a high ticket coaching program and someone wants their money back at the end of the program?  My advice is if you are offering a coaching program, you do not offer a money back guarantee.

The reason why I say this is because it is up to the customer to do the work.  If you do the work, you will get the results.  If the client doesn’t do the work, they need to take responsibility for their results.

When you are speaking with a prospect on the phone, you need to fully vet that person out to make sure they meet your criteria and also be very up front with that person as to what is expected of them in order to get results.

There’s a big difference between selling low ticket items compared to high ticket items and the nuances between the two determine as to whether or not you offer a guarantee.

What You Missed

In our last episode, we talked about the growing pains of business.

One of the best ways to grow and develop as a person is to run a business. As you grow and develop, so does your business.

No matter where you are in your business the most important thing you need to know is what to do to get you where you want to be. Having no plan or no direction will not get you there.

You need to know what to do, how to do it, and how to do it better.

To grow your business and work through those growing pains, and take your business to the next level, you need to know what to do and how to do it.

No matter where you are in your business, even if you’re just starting out, this episode is for you.

And know this… you will grow through whatever you’re going through.

The Growing Pains of Business

One of the best ways to grow and develop as a person is to run a business.  As you grow and develop, so does your business.

For me, personally, with my business, in order to grow my business and take it to the next level, I have to stop being the driver of the business.

I have a great team behind me and I have to let me team drive the business and allow me to be the passenger so that my role is less tactical and more strategic.

Knowing this, I have a path, a direction if you will.

If you need help, guidance, advice and direction, we can help you.  Go to www.workwithyuri.com where you can book a call to speak with us and we’ll talk about where you are in your business, where you want to go and give you a game plan to get you there.

I hope this served you well and I want you to know that whatever you are going through, you will grow through whatever you’re going through.

What You Missed

In our last episode, I asked the question, what are you willing to sacrifice for your success?

Unfortunately, a lot of people think they can put in the bare minimum effort to achieve a high level of success and it just doesn’t work that way.  Or they don’t trust the process, throw in the towel too quickly and exit the game too quickly.

I can tell you from my years of playing soccer, I learned that in order to develop a skill and be the best at it, you need to practice over and over again.  I trained every single day to be the best player I could be.  I put in the time.

This is something applies to just about anything. If you want to get better at something or have success, you need to put in the time.  To put in the time and effort, there are sacrifices you are going to have to make.

There are small sacrifices you can make every day.  Think about what they can be.  Starting out with small sacrifices build up over time.  You need to think if what you are doing right now is helping you move towards your bigger future, or is it keeping you where you’re at.

If you missed it, I would like you to listen to this episode as it will give you some things to think about and reflect upon in a way you may not have done so, and think about What Are You Willing To Sacrifice For Your Success.

What Are You Willing to Sacrifice For Your Success?

In today’s episode I want to talk about success, financial success in particular.

This is something that came to mind when I thought I about all the people I know who have built big, impactful companies.

The one thing all these people have is an insatiable hunger to grow no matter where they are at and are willing to make sacrifices to get there.

For me, personally, going back to when I was 10, I had a goal I wanted to achieve to become a professional soccer player and over the next 10 years, there were sacrifices I had made in my life to achieve that goal.  I was obsessed with being the best soccer player I could be.  This ties back to a previous episode where I talked about being obsessed with your success.

Look, I have my non-negotiables and I will not give up time with my family and being a father to my kids.  And to make that happen, I get up at 4:00 a.m. every single morning and get my most important work done before 8:00 a.m. so that I have the day ahead of me and can be there for my family and have the rest of the day to do whatever.

There are small sacrifices you can make every day.  Think about what they can be.  Starting out with small sacrifices build up over time.  You need to think if what you are doing right now is helping you move towards your bigger future, or is it keeping you where you’re at.

You need to be honest with yourself and think about the things you’re willing to do and things you’re not willing to do.  Are you willing to do what it takes to win but don’t know what path to take or what kind of structure you need?

If you are willing to make the sacrifices to take your business to the next level and you’re looking for guidance, I invite you to go to www.workwithyuri.com where you’ll be able to book a call with us and we can help you understand where you’re at, what’s not working, and give you a customized game plan for your situation.

I hope this message served you well and gave you some things to think about and reflect upon that maybe you hadn’t before.

In This Episode I discuss:

00:00 -01:15 – Introducing Today’s Episode

01:15 – 05:30 – Sacrifices Made To Achieve Success

05:30 – 08:30 – Are You Willing To Put The Work In To Achieve A High Level Of Success

What You Missed

In our last episode we talked about which is more important.  The Process or The Prize?

We’re taught and conditioned to set goals. But what we’re not taught is what we need to do to achieve those goals. You can set a goal, but it really doesn’t matter if you don’t have a process, or a road map to reach your destination.

You can set goals, but you have no control over the outcome. What you really need to focus on every single day is the process. The process is the thing you can control so that if you do them consistently will move you to the prize or the goal.

I can tell you that one of the things I have mastered in my business is developing processes. It’s one of my superpowers. Not everyone has the ability to develop a process or know what processes they should be doing in their business to help take their business to the next level.

If you missed it, you can catch it right here:  The Process Or The Prize

The Process Or The Prize

What’s happening Healthpreneurs!  I had an epiphany recently that I think may hit home with you as it did with me.  It’s in conjunction with something I spoke about in a recent episode called The Only Measure Of Success That Matters.

If you do one thing every single day for 30 days, you will get better at it and your results will improve over time.  You may not hit your goal, but you will get closer to it.

If you focus on the process every single day, over the next few months, your business will transform.

I can tell you that one of the things I have mastered in my business is developing processes.  It’s one of my superpowers.  Not everyone has the ability to develop a process or know what processes they should be doing in their business to help take their business to the next level.

If you want to know what processes you should be doing in your business to get more clients and have a much more predictable and sustainable business, I invite you to go to www.workwithyuri.com and we’ll do a free audit of your business and we’ll give you a game plan you can implement in your business.

What You Missed

In today’s episode, we are joined by a special guest, Julien, who is almost six months old.  We call him the little marshmallow and are still having tons of fun with his cheeks.

But in all seriousness, today I want to talk about how to competition-proof your business.

And I know being in the health, wellness and fitness space, you can get lost in what everyone else is doing that you tend to lose track in what you’re doing.

We end up comparing ourselves against what other people are doing.

To competition-proof your business is a lot easier than you think.  If there’s anything I want you to keep in mind is this.  Obsess about your clients, not about the competition.

While there may be a lot of people who do what you do, they’re not YOU.  We are all unique and we all have different approaches and philosophies to what we do.  Focus on what makes you unique and different.  And that’s what will attract people to YOU.

Your uniqueness will attract a tribe that resonates with your message.

When you compare yourself to someone else, you’re comparing against superficial data.  You have no idea of what is really going on behind the scenes.

Watch this episode and let me know what your thoughts are on this topic.  I invite your feedback, questions, comments.
